October 2004 Dear Valued Customer: The past twelve months have been a very exciting time for us all here at Archive America. I'd like to take this opportunity to share with you several of the highlights. New Markets Archive America has been focused on expanding our footprint as opportunities present themselves. We are excited to announce the ability to serve Archive America customers from several facilities in New England. We've acquired the business of Northeast Archives, based in Methuen, Massachusetts with several additional facilities strategically located around the state. Through Northeast Archives, with their solid experience serving a number of major hospitals and other businesses, we can deliver solutions from Boston, up through Eastern New Hampshire, and into Southern Maine. We've also made an investment in Records Management Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. We feel fortunate to have added a clean and extremely well maintained facility, fine staff, and excellent service reputation to offer service in Worcester and the western part of Massachusetts. We also are excited to announce our founding role and participation with Information Management International (IMI). IMI is an affiliation of commercial records centers, consultants, and other leading information management service providers offering consolidated services under the same umbrella and linked by the same mission critical software. For more information on IMI, see the Affiliated Companies section of this site or visit IMI on the web. New Technology As many of you may know, Archive America has been a long time user and supporter of O'Neil Software out of Irvine, California. We started on their DOS based systems more than a dozen years ago; migrating to their Windows systems in 1996. O'Neil released a new foundation based on Microsoft's SQL Server database engine that takes their already industry leading solutions to a new level. Besides the inherent power, capacity, and replication features resulting from SQL Server, O'Neil built the system around published business rules that allow customers like Archive America to develop unique and proprietary tools on top of the O'Neil foundation. We now truly have the best of all worlds: the reduced cost and expanded knowledge/feature base that comes with "off-the-shelf" software, and the ability to customize our technology when the needs of our customers requires that flexibility. We've also implemented internet based client solutions in the last twelve months. There may have already been an informational piece that's gone out to our customers providing a summary of what you can do online. Please look to the Online Solutions portion of our website for more information. There's probably so much more I can share with you, however I'll save that for the next edition of this letter. I am proud of our team and our continued efforts to bring the best possible solutions to our customers at competitive prices. Please feel free to contact me directly if I can ever be of service at ABlank@ArchiveAmerica.com. Continued Success and Best Regards, |
